This Tuesday, 'Hear Me Out' will discuss---through its audio documentaries---issues around immigration, specifically Latino immigration in the United States. This episode will also feature a variety of pieces from a project by university students at Duke University, courtesy of the Center for Documentary Studies and Student Action With Farmworkers in Durham, North Carolina.

These pieces are part of a beginning stage of a larger multi-media documentary project called
Nuestros Historias, Nuestros Suenos; Our Stories, Our Dreams; a 2-year long project to document the experiences of Latino immigrants and residents in the North Carolina school system. Look for more on the project at the
Center for Documentary Studies' website.

We'll hear first person accounts of immigration, migration, naturalization and the experience getting outside one's own personal expectations.
Tune in at 7pm this Tuesday. I hope you'll be learning to listen and listening to learn.
